Huan Chen's work reflects on transformation, memory, and the delicate balance between development and conservation. Her practice often examines how natural environments bear the traces of human intervention while highlighting the resilience and beauty of the world around us.
 
This painting won the Spyderworks Resilience Award at the Second Annual Juried Show of Visual Arts at the Art Gallery of Mississauga in 2022.
