INUIT: FIRST CONTACT

C$20,000.00Price

My depiction of the first encounters between Vikings and Inuit reflects my interpretation of the consequences of contact between these two distinct Arctic cultures. Initial meetings likely involved conflict, but over time, they gave way to trade, cooperative hunting, and shared ways of living. Eventually, efforts shifted toward producing goods for export to Europe, requiring significant time and engery.
