ODIN'S SAGA - THE NEW WORLD (Inquire for price)
With the arrival of the Vikings in Iceland, Greenland, and even North America, these lands were introduced to new sounds, songs, and colours. The Vikings brought with them everything they needed to survive. This sculpture represents the height of the Viking saga in these new worlds.
The period of contact lasted for about five hundred years, suggesting a level of cooperation with the Inuit. These scenes depict people living their daily lives - raising families, hunting, and fishing - offering a glimpse into the shared human experience during this time.
